GUIDE / UNIFY Guides for GUIDE

Many people at Heidelberg University come into contact with each other in the course of their everyday studies, work and research. Within the university, the Senate's guideline on partnership-based behavior regulates respectful and fair interaction. Interactions between all members should be free of discrimination, sexual harassment, bullying and stalking, and any conflicts that arise should be resolved constructively.

For GUIDE - UNIFY's procedure for dealing with conflicts and misconduct – confidential guides will start their voluntary work as new contact points at various points of the university from November 15, 2024 - directly accessible on site, promptly and confidentially.

Confidential guides are familiar with the paths and contact persons at the university and can make targeted referrals.

Members of the university seeking advice can contact people from the pool of all the university's confidential guides in the event of discrimination, harassment, bullying, stalking or conflicts in the work or study context. You can find the corresponding data protection declaration on the Confidential Guides page. From our institution, there are for you directly on site:
- Katrin Domsch katrin.domsch@cos.uni-heidelberg.de
- Markus Wirtz markus.wirtz@cos.uni-heidelberg.de
- Sarina Jabbusch sarina.jabbusch@cos.uni-heidelberg.de

If you would like to contact them, please make an appointment for a personal meeting by e-mail or direct contact. Please only state your wish for a confidential meeting! There is room for content in personal contact. The approach of the confidential guides and the discussions are fundamentally confidential and anonymous. In order to record which options you have, names or details of third parties that allow conclusions to be drawn about individuals are not required.

More information on “Anti-discrimination and conflicts”, the GUIDE, counseling options and the confidential counsellors can be found at UNIFY.
